About the position

The Police Security Administrative Coordinator/Police Dispatcher is responsible for supporting Police and Security leaders by organizing and completing administrative tasks related to law enforcement and security operations. This role involves managing emergency preparedness, police dispatching, access control, and maintaining security systems for corporate facilities. The position requires flexibility in working hours, including second and third shifts, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Supports police and security leaders by efficiently organizing and completing administrative tasks for office operations related to law enforcement and security.
  • Serves as the central point of distribution by dispatching police/security officers and collaborating with public safety agencies.
  • Operates security systems for corporate facilities and facilitates necessary changes for arm/disarm times and access control.
  • Ensures proper voiding of access cards and the capture of photo IDs for employees, contractors, consultants, and guests.
  • Provides administrative support for training documents, job aids, department policies, electronic file management, and document enhancement for leaders and departments.
  • Monitors and coordinates all law enforcement, safety, and security-related information, such as emergency services, fire and door alarms, and safety needs.
  • Assists with administrative functions related to corporate safety and security initiatives, such as parking permit programs, lost and found management, supply and equipment inventory, and department documentation and files.
  • Handles diverse external callers and visitors and interacts with internal contacts at all levels of the organization to resolve inquiries and handle incoming customer service requests.
  • Maintains clear and open communication with other staff members and management, alerting security management of any suspicious activity or potential threats.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of experience in Security Administrative Support, or a related field.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) and/or commensurate experience.
