Responsibilities

  • Engage with community and professional groups through meetings.
  • Contribute to the development of the Governor's policy priorities in coordination with executive staff and legislative offices.
  • Remain on-call during legislative sessions and crises.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Two years of professional experience in public policy research, legislative affairs, or public sector budget analysis.
  • At least one year of experience working in the legislative process or conducting public policy research and analysis.
  • Basic understanding of K-12 education policy.

Nice-to-haves
