About the position
Four Seasons Resort O'ahu at Ko Olina is looking for a Food Runner who has a passion for excellence and the spirit of aloha. The Food Runner reports to the Pool & Beach Manager and serves guest needs by assisting the Service Attendant with delivery of food & Beverage from kitchen and completing guest requests. Responsibilities
- Deliver food from kitchen to the guest ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in clearing, cleaning and set-up of tables, chairs, linens, china, glass and silver for service in an unobtrusive manner; greet guests according to Four Seasons Standards to ensure superior service.
- Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
- Assist in stocking linens, china, glass, silver, and food items for service; assist in preparation of smaller items such as toast, soup, or beverages.
- Assist in the breakdown, cleaning and set-up of buffets and food stations.
Requirements
- Candidate must be fluent in English, both verbal and written.
- Candidates should have at least 1 year previous experience in a similar position in a luxury environment.
- Must be experienced in the areas of communication and computer skills.
- Service Passion
- Requires attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- Successful candidates must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
