About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pool maintenance and repair, demonstrating excellent mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various tools. As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that pools are clean, safe, and well-maintained for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of residential and commercial pools.
• Inspect pool equipment for functionality and perform necessary repairs.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete maintenance tasks.
• Conduct water quality tests and adjust chemical levels as needed to maintain safe swimming conditions.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide solutions to ensure optimal performance.
• Communicate with clients regarding services performed and any additional needs or recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided, including maintenance schedules and repairs made.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar role related to pool maintenance.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to repair pool equipment effectively.
• Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in maintenance tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills for client interaction.
• A valid driver's license is preferred for travel between job sites.
