About the position

The Southeast Permanente Medical Group (TSPMG) is seeking two additional gastroenterologists to join our growing team of 12 physicians. This position is a general GI role that offers a 4 1/2 day work week with shared call responsibilities. The gastroenterologists will perform procedures in the clinic procedure suites, ensuring that they have access to state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. TSPMG is one of Georgia's largest independent, physician-owned, multi-specialty medical groups, providing high-quality care to over 300,000 Kaiser Permanente members. Our integrated care model allows for collaboration among more than 500 physicians and 150 associate practitioners across 26 medical offices, which are equipped with labs, imaging services, and pharmacies. We also provide surgical services and around-the-clock care at some of the area's top hospitals. Responsibilities

  • Perform general gastroenterology procedures in clinic procedure suites.
  • Participate in shared call responsibilities with the team.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology.
  • Strong clinical skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
