About the position

The Pool/Landscape Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects within the pool industry, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The coordinator will work closely with subcontractors, stakeholders, and the project team to facilitate smooth project execution from planning through completion.

Responsibilities

  • Manage subcontractors and confirm work is completed on time
  • Develop and manage project schedules, goals, and timelines
  • Coordinate project designs and engineering plans with stakeholders
  • Prepare, review, and submit construction permits, contracts, and change orders
  • Monitor project progress and update status reports
  • Identify and resolve project issues, bottlenecks, and conflicts
  • Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders and project team members
  • Facilitate communication within the project team and across relevant departments
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes
  • Assist in developing and maintaining project documentation, including plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Oversee the permitting process and purchase materials
  • Conduct project evaluations and assessments of results
  • Manage opening and close-out procedures for each project

Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience in project coordination, project management, vendor management within the pool industry
  • Fluency in Spanish
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Superb communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Jobber, Pool Brain, and Google Workplace
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices
  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with permitting processes, purchasing, and compliance documentation
