About the position

The Pool Maintenance Technician at Blue Science, LLC is responsible for servicing and maintaining residential pools in the Houston Metro area. This role involves performing routine cleaning, inspecting equipment, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service. The position offers a company truck and gas card for work-related travel, along with opportunities for career growth within a family-owned and operated company that values craftsmanship and customer care.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly cleaning and maintenance on clients' pools by skimming, vacuuming, and brushing walls and steps.
• Maintain and clean pool filters.
• Adjust, maintain, and regularly test the water to ensure proper chemistry.
• Consistently inspect pool and equipment; provide solutions and troubleshoot any issues.
• Resolve client or customer concerns and provide excellent customer care.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work outside year-round in a variety of conditions.
• Water competency - must be able to swim.
• Mechanical aptitude and pool experience (preferred but not required).
• A valid driver's license and good driving record required.
• High school diploma / GED (preferred but not required).
