About the position

We are seeking a dedicated Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, self-motivated, and responsible for maintaining and repairing pools to ensure they are safe and operational.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators
• Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment malfunctions
• Clean and maintain pools, including skimming debris, vacuuming, and balancing chemicals
• Empty pump baskets, skimmer baskets, and brush walls and tile each service visit
• Inspect pool systems for leaks or other issues
• Install and replace pool equipment as needed
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
• Maintain accurate records of services performed
• Use power tools and hand tools for maintenance and repairs
• Ensure compliance with safety standards during all work procedures
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds safely.

Requirements

• No previous experience required
• Proven experience as a Pool Service Technician or similar role preferred
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
• Strong mechanical knowledge, especially related to pool systems
• Ability to perform pool cleaning and maintenance tasks effectively
• Knowledge of pool equipment repair and troubleshooting techniques
• Strong customer service and great verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds safely
