About the position
The Pool Service Technician is responsible for maintaining and servicing commercial swimming pools, ensuring they are clean, safe, and functioning properly. This role involves conducting inspections, performing routine cleaning, testing water chemistry, and maintaining pool equipment. The position is ideal for individuals who are dedicated and willing to learn, as no prior experience is required, and training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of pools to assess their condition and identify maintenance needs.
- Perform routine pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, and brushing surfaces.
- Test water chemistry and balance chemicals as necessary to ensure safe swimming conditions.
- Maintain pool equipment by performing repairs and replacements as needed.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for equipment repair and maintenance tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients.
- Keep accurate records of services performed, including maintenance schedules and chemical readings.
- Follow safety protocols while working in various environments, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
