About the position
The Pool Service position at Rix Pool Spa & Sauna involves performing various tasks related to the maintenance and servicing of swimming pools. This entry-level role is essential for ensuring pools are clean, safe, and ready for use, contributing to customer satisfaction and the overall operation of the service team.
Responsibilities
- Load the service truck as directed.
- Prepare the swimming pool cover for removal.
- Remove the cover and drain, clean, roll-up, and store the water bags.
- Replace the 'pop-ups' for the cover.
- Clean, sanitize, and fold/roll the cover for storage.
- Place the cover in the designated storage area.
- Remove the pool equipment from storage for use in the set-up.
- Skim debris from the water, vacuum the swimming pool, and scrub the tiles.
- Clean the deck area and police the deck area for tools and equipment.
- Return all tools/equipment to the service truck.
- Fill the chemical order as directed by the mechanic.
- Unload the truck of all debris and trash from the day's service.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the mechanic or management.
