About the position

This position involves conducting research in a chosen field of study under the direction of a CReSIS staff member. The role is primarily focused on research activities, with additional responsibilities including attending team meetings and performing other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research in chosen field of study under the direction of a CReSIS staff member.
  • Attend team meetings as requested.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Computer Sciences, Geology, Geography or a related field.
  • Student must be in good academic standing and be making satisfactory progress toward a degree.
  • During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours.
  • For summer periods, the student hourly must have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester, be pre-enrolled in the upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours, be enrolled in summer session, or be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester.
