About the position

The position of Pool Tile Helper at Massachusetts Solar, Inc. d/b/a Kadison Pool Plastering involves assisting in the installation and repair of tile surfaces in pools. This is a full-time temporary role requiring physical labor and teamwork to ensure quality tile work is completed efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials, tools, or machines to installation sites.
• Remove damaged or destroyed tiles or marble.
• Provide assistance in the preparation, installation, repair, or rebuilding of tile surfaces.
• Apply cement to walls, floors, and ceilings.
• Set tile in place and push into cement.
• Utilize tools such as hammers, chisels, trowels, putty knives, power grinders, and polishers.
• Clean installation surfaces, equipment, tools, and work sites.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand and be alert for long periods of time.

Benefits

• $39.33/hour with overtime at $59.00 paid weekly on Friday.
• Optional employer-provided shared housing available at approximately $30 per week, payroll deducted if worker elects.
• Daily transportation to/from worksite provided at no charge.
• Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work after completing 50% of the employment contract period.
• Return transportation and subsistence costs covered upon completion of the work contract or early dismissal, except if the worker does not return due to subsequent employment with another employer.
• Daily subsistence provided at a rate of $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59 per day with receipts.
• Reimbursement for visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees in the first work week.
