About the position
Canepa is seeking experienced Porsche Technicians to join their team, focusing on the maintenance and repair of various Porsche models, including the 356, 911, 959, and 993. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering high-quality workmanship and will work both independently and as part of a multifunctional team in a leading collector car company.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair on Porsche vehicles including models from 356 to 993.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in fuel injection systems, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, drivetrain, and suspension systems.
- Conduct basic internal engine repairs and setups.
- Repair transaxles as needed.
- Utilize computer and internet skills for diagnostics and repairs.
Requirements
- Journeyman level Porsche technician with experience on Porsche models from 356 through 993.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of fuel injection systems and controls.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills in hydraulic systems, electrical systems, drivetrain, and suspension systems.
- Electrical experience related to automotive systems.
- Experience with basic internal engine repair and setup.
- Experience with transaxle repair.
- Availability to work full-time and willingness to work overtime when necessary.
- Basic computer and internet skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Ability to perform alignments using a computer-aided alignment rack.
- Ability to mount and balance tires with a road force balancer.
- European auto repair experience.
