Responsibilities

• Safely operate various pieces of hand, powered or mobile equipment to meet site production goals.
• Comply with Loss Control (HSLP), Environmental, and NGM policies and procedures.
• Comply with state and federal health and safety regulations.
• Perform preop inspections on all pieces of equipment and machinery prior to use.
• Demonstrate the requirements to perform a proper heading inspection for haul truck operation.
• Demonstrate the ability to perform preoperational checks for haul truck operation.
• Demonstrate the ability to suppress airborne dust as required during haul truck operation.
• Demonstrate the ability to receive muck in a safe and efficient manner during haul truck operation.
• Demonstrate knowledge of safe ramp travel with regards to traffic and pedestrians during haul truck operation.
• Demonstrate the ability to dump muck in a safe and efficient manner during haul truck operation.
• Demonstrate the requirements to perform a proper heading inspection for conveyor operation.
• Demonstrate the ability to perform pre operational checks for conveyor operation.
• Demonstrate the ability to follow the required lock-out/tag-out procedure for conveyor operation.
• Demonstrate the ability to identify worn or defective components for conveyor operation.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the required PPE for all aspects of conveyor operation.
• Demonstrate ability to monitor conveyor while in operation.
• Demonstrate the requirements to clear plugged chutes in a safe and efficient manner for conveyor operation.
• Demonstrate the requirements to perform a proper workplace inspection for slickline operation (optional).
• Demonstrate the ability to perform pre operational checks for slickline operation (optional).
• Demonstrate the safe start up of the slickline (optional).
• Demonstrate knowledge of the lock-out/tag out procedure for slickline operation (optional).
• Demonstrate the ability to recognize workplace hazards for slickline operation (optional).
• Demonstrate the ability to shut down, wash out and clean up slickline safely (optional).
• Operate water truck and manage dewatering - sumps/pumps operation.
• Wash Bay Operation.
• Utilities operation.
• Nipper operation.

Requirements

• 8 of 11 skills are required, with trucking and utilities being mandatory.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days.
