About the position

The Porter/Custodian role at Carteret Management Corporation is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of Sandpiper Place Apartments in Bradenton, FL. This full-time position focuses on custodial duties and groundskeeping to ensure resident satisfaction and a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the highest level of resident satisfaction at all times.
• Clear debris from grounds and clean office and common areas.
• Assist in the preparation of market-ready units by removing trash from vacant apartments prior to make-ready.
• Requisition housekeeping supplies as needed.
• Perform other general janitorial duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Prior custodial experience preferred.
• Ability to perform general custodial duties.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Ability to operate machinery and equipment necessary for custodial duties, including backpack vacuum, pressure washer, and hand blower.
• Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with various groups, including on-site staff, vendors, and residents.
