About the position

The Porter/Dishwasher at the Phoenix Suns plays a crucial role in supporting the kitchen's daily operations. This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, organization, and proper stocking of the kitchen while assisting with minor food preparation and handling deliveries. Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness and order of the kitchen, keeping workspaces safe and efficient.
• Assist chefs by washing, peeling, and cutting ingredients as needed.
• Manage the receipt and proper storage of deliveries in designated areas.
• Maintain the market area, ensuring it is fully stocked with drinks, snacks, and utensils throughout the shift.
• Help with trash disposal in accordance with proper sanitation practices.
• Keep the dishwashing area fully stocked with cleaning supplies and chemicals.

Requirements

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
• Familiarity with kitchen safety and sanitation standards.
• Dependable and able to adapt to flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Previous experience working in a kitchen environment, with a focus on cleaning and maintaining sanitary conditions preferred.
