Requirements

• Entry-level position with no specific prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assures that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
• Develops and maintains a good working rapport with interdepartmental personnel and other departments.
• Assists in daily and scheduled cleaning duties according to established policies and procedures.
• Works the dishwashing station as needed and maintains all temperature logs.
• Cleans work areas, refrigerators, freezers, etc. as assigned and maintains all temperature logs.
• Organizes stock rooms and walk-in refrigerators and freezers.
• Puts away inventory from deliveries.
• Returns clean utensils to proper storage areas.
• Attends and participates in in-service education programs.
• Prepares food in accordance with sanitary regulations and established policies and procedures.
• Ensures that safety regulations are always followed.
• Follows established infection/exposure control and universal precautions policies and procedures.
• Reports all hazardous conditions/equipment to the executive chef and/or administration.
• Performs other related duties as required or directed.
