The Porter position at Atria Senior Living involves providing essential cleaning and maintenance services to ensure a safe, neat, and attractive environment for residents and guests. Responsibilities
- Provide cleaning services for business offices, apartments, and common areas.
- Perform floor care services including vacuuming, extracting, buffing, and sealing.
- Compact and remove trash and debris from community areas.
- Maintain all grounds, including sidewalks, public walkways, and garden areas.
- Perform basic maintenance related work requests.
- Mow lawns, trim shrubbery, and cultivate flowers as needed.
- Notify management of repair needs and report unsafe conditions promptly.
- Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in all work performed.
Requirements
- Must successfully complete all Atria specified training programs.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations with currency and measurements.
- Ability to work various schedules and shifts as needed.
- Ability to safely use basic maintenance and landscape-related hand tools and light power tools.
- Must understand English well enough to read and comply with safety instructions.
