The candidate will utilize and develop sophisticated modeling techniques to forecast and identify potential high-risk pools within the Fifth Third Bank Consumer Portfolio, making senior-level buy, sell, and hold recommendations based on this analysis. The position also requires analyzing through-the-door originations for performance, focusing on multiple granular meaningful striations. The candidate will assess product performance concerning expected delinquency and loss curves, making guideline changes to enhance secondary marketing quality. Recommendations to Quality Control will be based on a rank order of risk areas identified during monthly reviews. Furthermore, the role involves reviewing complex scorecard guideline challenges to ensure that proper risk mitigation factors align with corporate risk initiatives and business unit growth strategies. The candidate will provide corporate executive-level portfolio reporting and forecasting to support accurate business planning processes that maximize the consumer portfolio's risk/reward. Leadership for new initiatives that support future business line growth strategies is also a critical aspect of this role. The candidate will develop, implement, and maintain credit protection insurance programs to support loan production growth while limiting risk. The position may involve various strategic projects as directed by the Chief Consumer Credit Risk Officer.
