Responsibilities

  • Making and receiving loan collection calls
  • Working with seller banks and correspondents regarding delinquent loans
  • Sending, receiving, and filing delinquency reports
  • Developing and obtaining approval of delinquency plans
  • Communicating and submitting monthly/quarterly reporting to Investor Funding Sources
  • Working with attorneys regarding bankruptcy, foreclosure, and REO
  • Tracking and documenting collection expenses
  • Issuing delinquent loan payoff requests
  • Working with seller banks and correspondents regarding servicing requests such as partial releases, subordinations, easements, and RLOC resets
  • Gathering appropriate information and completing analysis to support servicing requests
  • Submitting appropriate documentation and analysis to Funding Sources for approval
  • Ensuring file documentation supports all servicing/collection activity
  • Monitoring and making recommendations regarding insurance and taxes
  • Establishing and maintaining good relationships with Funding Sources, underwriters, and staff
  • Reviewing, analyzing, evaluating, and preparing periodic reports for management
  • Assisting in the creation and maintenance of credit-related policies, processes, and procedures
  • Developing resolutions to complex problems that require the frequent use of creativity

Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent
  • 6+ years of credit, credit administration within an agricultural or commercial loan environment or other directly related experience
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Self-starter with the ability to work with little or no supervision
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Tact, diplomacy, and good judgment required at all times
  • Proven customer service skills and effective team skills
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office products and other industry-specific applications
