About the position

As a Portfolio Analytics and Strategy Analyst Senior at PNC, you will play a crucial role in the Enterprise Fraud Reporting team, focusing on analyzing data to assess the effectiveness of fraud strategies. This position involves navigating data to connect fraud countermeasures with their impact on fraud losses and customer experience, while also developing dashboards using Tableau and generating regular fraud reports. The role requires a blend of analytical skills and experience in process improvements, coding efficiencies, and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial and regulatory reporting and analyses to maintain adequate controls over the financial and regulatory reporting processes.
  • Run complex business performance, risk, and operational analytics.
  • Develop analytical methods/models to assess market, credit, and operational risk of financial products.
  • Analyze large datasets to improve risk-adjusted returns and deliver profitable growth.
  • Synthesize analytical results and recommend business strategies to improve lending decisions and manage risk.
  • Establish baselines for strategies and track actual performance against expectations.
  • Apply predictive models and third-party data to develop segmentation and targeting for acquisition and portfolio strategies.
  • Manage engagements with internal and external information suppliers to ensure solutions are fit for purpose.
  • Collaborate with business, credit, data, and model development partners to design and monitor analytical reporting.
  • Design and enhance standard reporting suites for regular product and portfolio reviews.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Risk partners to assess and establish credit risk appetite.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience in analytics or fraud reporting.
  • Experience with Python, Tableau, and SQL for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in process improvements or developing code efficiencies.
  • Familiarity with financial analysis and model development.
  • Knowledge of operational risks and credit risks.
