About the position

As a Portfolio Analytics Specialist Consultant at Capital Group, you will play a crucial role in generating both templated and custom investment and portfolio analyses to support the North American Client Group (NACG) in their efforts to raise and retain assets. Your responsibilities will include the timely delivery of analysis and effective communication with requesting associates to determine the appropriate analyses needed, including insights and commentary that will prepare and train the sales force. You will also support maintenance and development associates with the report suite and workflows, leveraging PC data to enhance insight development and business intelligence. In this position, you will prepare templated reports and conduct custom research on investment products and portfolios. You will be proactive in your communication to ensure timely analysis and will observe portfolio consultations, assisting the portfolio consulting team by providing supplemental analysis and identifying opportunities. As a technical expert on the PC report suite and associate technology, you will participate in or lead related projects as directed. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to drive results.

Responsibilities

  • Generate templated and custom investment and portfolio analysis to support NACG efforts.
  • Deliver timely analysis and communicate with requesting associates to determine appropriate analysis.
  • Prepare templated reports and custom research on investment products and portfolios.
  • Provide proactive custom and supplemental research/analytics to support the business.
  • Facilitate timely analysis through proactive communication.
  • Observe portfolio consultations and assist the portfolio consulting team with supplemental analysis.
  • Serve as a technical expert on the PC report suite and associate technology.
  • Participate and/or lead related projects as directed.

Requirements

  • Currently hold the Security Industry Essentials (SIE) certification.
  • Have or complete the Series 7, and 63/65 or 66 licenses.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Ability to acquire CIMA, CFA, and/or CFP, or similar designations.
