About the position

The Portfolio Business Partner at Fontainebleau Las Vegas will serve as the primary IT point of contact for one or more business portfolios, aligning IT services with the strategic goals of the organization. This role involves developing and implementing a comprehensive digital strategy and vision, leading IT teams, managing projects, and fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance. The Portfolio Business Partner will be responsible for overseeing IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. This includes coordinating with project teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure successful project outcomes. The position requires a strong focus on identifying and leveraging opportunities for digital transformation and innovation within business processes, as well as establishing and maintaining strong relationships with business stakeholders to manage expectations and provide regular updates. In addition to project management, the Portfolio Business Partner will partner with IT service management process owners to provide service excellence, including incident, problem, and change management. The role demands strategic thinking to develop and align IT strategies with business objectives, as well as proven leadership abilities to guide IT teams to successful outcomes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, an understanding of IT service management frameworks, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Experience in the hospitality or luxury resort industry is preferred, along with a solid understanding of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary IT liaison for business units, aligning IT services with their strategic objectives.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy and vision for one or more business portfolios at Fontainebleau Las Vegas.
  • Lead IT teams in the execution of projects and the management of services, promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Identify and leverage opportunities for digital transformation and innovation within business processes.
  • Oversee IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Coordinate with project teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Partner with IT service management process owners to provide service excellence, including incident, problem, and change management.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, managing expectations and providing regular updates.
