About the position

Marksman Security Corporation is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Portfolio Manager to oversee security personnel and ensure that all sites are properly staffed with trained and motivated officers. The Security Portfolio Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our clients' properties while fostering strong relationships with clients through effective communication and support. This position requires a proactive approach to managing security operations, ensuring that all security personnel are performing their duties effectively and in compliance with established policies and procedures. In this role, the Security Portfolio Manager will work closely with client contacts to achieve the goals and objectives set forth by Marksman Security and the associated organizations. The ideal candidate will have a background in corrections, law enforcement, military security, or account management, with experience in armed or unarmed guard/officer roles. The Security Portfolio Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing site-specific security policies, conducting regular site inspections, and managing security personnel, including scheduling, training, and addressing any employee relations or payroll concerns. The position requires a strong leader who can effectively communicate with team members and clients, ensuring that all pertinent information is shared in a timely manner. The Security Portfolio Manager will also be responsible for utilizing approved security equipment, such as CCTV and radios, to maintain a secure environment. Responsibilities

  • Interact with all guests (clients, residents, and visitors) in a professional demeanor.
  • Foster client relationships through continuous communication and support.
  • Develop and implement site-specific security policies to successfully execute contracts.
  • Ensure officers are performing all assigned duties including but not limited to time sheets, daily logs, activity, and incident reports.
  • Review and verify all reports and logs for accuracy.
  • Address and rectify all employee relation and payroll concerns in a timely manner.
  • Recruit, hire, and train officers to ensure operational performance and coverage is met.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance (uniform and equipment).
  • Utilize approved security equipment (CCTV, radios, computers/tablets, etc.).
  • Effectively communicate all pertinent information to the team in a timely manner.
  • Manage security personnel including but not limited to scheduling, counseling, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance (uniform and equipment).
  • Perform other duties as determined by management.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three years previous security supervision or leadership experience required.
  • Flexible/on-call schedule availability.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Attentive to detail.
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience utilizing security equipment and protocols required.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug).
  • Winteam experience a PLUS!

Nice-to-haves
