About the position

The Portfolio Manager of Supplier Excellence at RNDC is responsible for enhancing collaboration and communication between RNDC, its customers, and supplier partners to optimize sales execution. This role focuses on driving the execution of supplier commercial strategies, managing P&L, and ensuring the growth of both supplier and RNDC revenue and profitability. The position involves overseeing supplier agreements, developing strategies for business growth, and facilitating communication across various teams to achieve key performance indicators and goals.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance of supplier agreements through regular audits and market activity analysis.
  • Own full Supplier P&L, maximizing top line revenue and maintaining bottom line profitability.
  • Translate and optimize supplier strategies across all RNDC functions and footprints.
  • Consult with supply chain, purchasing, and demand planning teams to optimize inventory levels and deliver accurate forecasting models.
  • Own supplier-based commercial plans and new item setups, setting targets and goals for suppliers.
  • Align with supplier and state sales leadership in program development and execution.
  • Develop and lead supplier programs, goals, KPIs, and key initiatives.
  • Drive commercial programming for the supplier portfolio.
  • Facilitate communication across RNDC teams, including state sales leadership and sales finance.
  • Review and analyze brands for sales and profit opportunities, identifying high growth potential suppliers and brands.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of related experience with an alcoholic beverage wholesaler or supplier or equivalent education and experience.
