About the position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Portfolio Manager to join our dynamic team at Redside Partners LLC. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in property management, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to ensure both owner and resident satisfaction. This role involves managing multiple multi-family buildings, overseeing financial operations, and maintaining property standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage up to 30 multi-family buildings in Seattle, focusing on financial oversight and operational efficiency.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor Resident and Community Managers, providing ongoing support to ensure high performance.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with property owners by addressing their diverse needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Address resident concerns swiftly, ensuring effective communication around financial matters, including monitoring ledger balances and resolving discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance team to ensure the exterior of buildings and common areas are well-maintained and visually appealing.
  • Use market analysis to adjust market rents in AppFolio and assist in leasing apartment units as needed.
  • Efficiently manage leasing, resident communications, month-end owner reports, and various tasks using AppFolio software.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of proven property management experience specializing in meeting the needs of both property owners and residents.
  • A Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred; a real estate license is highly encouraged.
  • Experience with property management software is required, preferably AppFolio.
  • Deep knowledge of local property management practices with a demonstrated ability to independently research and resolve issues.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in overseeing building site managers is a plus.
  • Proficiency in financial management and market analysis.
