About the position
The Portfolio Manager position at Insight Global focuses on managing a portfolio of C&I loans, ensuring ongoing credit oversight, compliance monitoring, and conducting regular reviews. The role requires strong financial analysis skills and the ability to work independently in a commercial banking environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform ongoing portfolio management on assigned borrowers including quarterly reviews on problem loans and annual reviews on regular C&I portfolio of loans.
- Manage portfolio credit migration proactively and recommend specific action plans upon identifying increased borrower risk.
- Monitor compliance with covenants and financial reporting, preparing financial analysis including DCF, EV assessment, and projections.
- Review loan documentation in accordance with approved terms and conditions, including any amendments, waivers, or restructuring.
- Maintain credit files in preparation for loan review, as well as internal or external audits and regulatory exams.
Requirements
- College degree required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a commercial banking institution managing C&I loans
- Cash flow lending experience required
- Strong knowledge base in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Financial analysis, discounted cash flow, enterprise value assessment required.
