About the position

This senior role focuses on managing externally managed public equity and core fixed income portfolios, collaborating closely with senior investment leaders and external partners. The position involves overseeing a significant asset base, leading portfolio construction, and ensuring optimal performance through rigorous analysis and relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Portfolio Manager and senior investment leaders on public equities and core fixed income investments.
• Manage a portfolio of $5 billion or higher in collaboration with external investment management partners.
• Lead risk and performance analytics across public equities and core fixed income.
• Conduct periodic investment and market-related projects and initiatives.
• Oversee portfolio construction and ensure alignment with investment strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with investment management partners.
• Monitor portfolio performance and recommend actions based on analysis.
• Collaborate with internal teams for seamless management of portfolios.

Requirements

• BA or BS required; MBA, CFA, CAIA, or other advanced degree preferred.
• 11-15 years of relevant experience in investments and financial markets.
• Extensive knowledge of global financial markets and risk management across asset classes.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience in mentoring and coaching team members.
• Expert knowledge in using Bloomberg and FactSet.
