The Portfolio Operations Analyst plays a crucial role in managing various functional areas of Portfolio Operations within a product-led organization. This position encompasses responsibilities related to capital allocation, capital budget governance, operating budget governance, capacity management, vendor performance governance, and contracts management. Under the general supervision of a Portfolio Ops Manager and in collaboration with the Principal Portfolio Ops Manager, the analyst will lead and direct activities related to one or more Portfolio Operations functions while also developing expertise in other areas. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to driving data-driven decisions that support stakeholders across the organization. The analyst will oversee all aspects of assigned portfolio functional areas, including budgeting (both operational and capital), capacity/resource management, and estimation processes. They will identify and understand the scope of work, organize tasks, and develop a comprehensive delivery plan and approach. Participation in audits and other functionally related activities is also a key component of this role. The analyst must ensure that processes and organizational alignment of portfolio management are achieved and enforced, demonstrating strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively lead discussions with organizational leaders. In addition to these responsibilities, the Portfolio Operations Analyst will be instrumental in fostering a culture of continuous improvement in delivery methodologies and leading large-scale organizational change to address complex problems. Setting target deadlines, monitoring progress, and providing leadership to team members and stakeholders are essential functions of this position. The analyst will also coordinate contract management activities with leaders across the organization as needed, ensuring that all essential job functions are performed effectively, with or without reasonable accommodation.
