About the position

The Portfolio Operations Specialist at The Nature Conservancy (TNC) will manage the internal governance approval process and support operational, financial, and legal governance for NatureVest impact investment projects. This role is crucial in facilitating the development of financial markets that integrate natural capital, ensuring that TNC's impact investments align with its 2030 Goals. The position involves collaboration with various teams and requires strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage the internal governance approval process for impact investment projects.
• Support the NatureVest Portfolio Program Manager with operational, financial, and conservation reporting.
• Serve as corporate secretary for NatureVest-managed entities, preparing meeting minutes and resolutions.
• Ensure legal governance compliance for NatureVest-managed entities and coordinate with TNC's legal services.
• Assist in monitoring and reporting on conservation, financial, and risk outcomes for impact investment projects.
• Produce presentation materials for TNC leadership regarding trends and recommendations.
• Develop consolidated conservation measurement documentation and track outcomes for impact investment projects.
• Create and refine documentation regarding governance, reporting, and operational workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination.
• Experience generating reports and analyzing data.
• Experience managing and implementing multiple projects.
• Experience with business process analysis and/or improvement.
• Familiarity with current technology in the relevant field.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Strong organizational skills, accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple complex tasks.
