About the position

The Portfolio Senior Systems Engineer will play a critical role in the U.S. Navy Cybersecurity Program Office's Special Projects organization, focusing on the integration and delivery of secure System-of-Systems (SoS) capabilities. This position involves coordinating multiple projects and design activities, ensuring effective collaboration among stakeholders, and maintaining oversight of project statuses to facilitate successful capability delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop system of systems project schedules
• Provide input to the joint Integration Master Schedule
• Provide guidance to multiple teams across the portfolio
• Work across functions with peers in other groups to ensure collaboration for shared portfolio goals
• Coordinate engineering design reviews
• Maintain situational awareness across all assigned projects and design activities
• Identify and develop Risks/Issues/Opportunities during project execution
• Ensure the LCI is aware of the status of all projects and design activities

Requirements

• Proficient in DoD System Development Life Cycle
• Proficient in Engineering Change Management
• Proficient in Scope Management
• Able to develop and present artifacts to leadership
• Able to read and understand technical documentation and drawings
• Knowledge of Project Management fundamentals
• Proficient in Microsoft products including Windows, Office, Project
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community
• Ability to multi-task
• Technical Writing skills
