About the position

The Point-Of-Sale (POS) Data Analyst is a key member of the POS team responsible for coordinating with management across all departments to ensure relevant reporting and data analysis is accessible to users. This role requires advanced proficiency in data management tools and excellent communication skills to support the organization's operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with management from all departments to ensure relevant reporting and data analysis is available to users.
• Utilize advanced-level proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for data formatting, lookup functions, filtering, and PivotTables.
• Import and export data between software applications as needed.
• Maintain familiarity with the POS system to support data analysis and reporting.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates.
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team to meet deadlines and project goals.

Requirements

• Advanced-level proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Windows.
• Familiarity with importing/exporting data between software applications.
• Familiarity with a POS system.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate tasks with multiple people.
