About the position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator/Project Administrator to join our construction office. This role involves managing various administrative tasks, coordinating project-related documentation, and assisting with the Pay Application process using AIA forms G702 and G703. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn about the insurance side of the construction business and will thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in coordinating project-related tasks and documentation.
  • Prepare and manage AIA Pay Applications (G702 and G703 forms).
  • Track project progress, schedules, and deadlines to ensure timely delivery.
  • Work closely with project managers and other team members to facilitate smooth project operations.
  • Learn and manage aspects of insurance related to construction projects.
  • Handle project-related communications and updates to clients and stakeholders.
  • Assist with financial reporting and project documentation.

Requirements

  • Notary Public certification (preferred, but not required).
  • Familiarity with AIA G702 and G703 forms for Pay Applications (required).
  • Previous experience in construction administration or project coordination (preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Willingness to learn the insurance processes related to construction projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).

Nice-to-haves

  • PMP certification (preferred).

Benefits

  • Full-time position with a pay starting from $18.00 per hour.
  • Expected hours: 40 per week.
  • Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday.
