About the position

The Post-Closing Specialist - Post-Purchase Operations at Truly Investor Capital is responsible for managing post-closing functions, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and accuracy in the mortgage operations process. This role requires a strong background in mortgage operations and attention to detail, as the specialist will review loan documents, coordinate with stakeholders, and monitor post-purchase issues.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate all post-closing loan documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and investor requirements.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies in closing documentation.
• Manage the delivery of final loan packages to investors or custodians within required timelines.
• Monitor and track post-purchase issues, including trailing documents and corrections, to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain detailed records of all post-closing activities and generate periodic reports for management.
• Provide exceptional support to the sales, underwriting, and funding teams to streamline the post-closing process.
• Stay informed of industry changes and best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in post-closing, loan servicing, or related mortgage operations roles.
• Strong understanding of post-purchase requirements, including compliance and document review.
• Familiarity with business-purpose lending (DSCR loans, fix-and-flip, bridge loans) is a plus.
• Proficiency with mortgage systems and technology; experience with loan tracking and delivery systems is preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
