About the position

The Post-doctoral Fellow/Psychological Associate (PA) position at Greenhouse Therapy Center involves providing high-quality psychological services to a diverse clientele. The role emphasizes developmental, relational, and neurobiologically-informed approaches to therapy, catering to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. The ideal candidate will be committed to equity and justice in mental health care, demonstrating outstanding clinical effectiveness and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a caseload of at least 25 client service hours per week, building over the first two months of employment.
• Maintain responsibility for client records and ledger, including writing session notes, charging clients, and filing insurance claims.
• Attend weekly supervision meetings and other requested meetings by clinical leadership and administrative teams.
• Provide timely responses to client and Greenhouse emails, phone calls, and other professional communications.
• Fulfill mandatory attendance in training opportunities, including biweekly clinical theory book group and DIR case consultation group.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in psychology or related field.
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Psychologist credentials.
• Experience in psychodynamic therapy, EMDR, and trauma-informed therapies.
• Experience in child/adolescent assessment and therapy, including play therapy and LGBTQIA+ affirming care.
• Demonstrated clinical effectiveness and outstanding interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with psychodiagnostic and psychoeducational assessments.
• Experience in couples therapy and family therapy.
• Experience providing services to neurodivergent clients.
• Experience with insurance billing and understanding its complexities.
