About the position

The Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Program at the Center for Healthcare Delivery Science (CHDS) at Nemours Children's Health is designed for individuals interested in clinical research and aspiring to academic research careers. The fellowship spans two years and offers opportunities to engage in various research areas related to pediatric healthcare, including chronic pain, oncology, and health disparities. Fellows will work closely with a primary research mentor and participate in all aspects of clinical research, including project planning, data collection, and manuscript preparation.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of clinical research including project planning, recruitment and data collection, manualized treatment development and delivery, data management and analyses, and manuscript preparation.
• Write and submit grant applications with mentorship, including the opportunity to apply for internal fellowship project funding.
• Attend educational sessions including biomedical research presentations, pediatric grand rounds, and CHDS-based research meetings and didactics.
• Receive supervised clinical training and accrue hours needed for licensure (if applicable).

Requirements

• A background in psychology, nursing, public health, or related fields is preferred.
• Interest in clinical research and academic research careers.

Nice-to-haves
