About the position
The Post Harvest Lead at Trulieve is responsible for directing workflow and leading a team of 15-20 employees in a fast-paced environment focused on the drying, curing, and trimming of cannabis products. This role involves ensuring adherence to company policies, providing training, conducting daily assessments, and maintaining product quality while fostering a positive work atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Direct workflow and lead a team of 15-20 employees in the post-harvest process.
- Ensure adherence to company uniform and attendance policies.
- Provide proper training to employees for their tasks and ensure compliance with SOPs.
- Conduct daily team meetings to discuss tasks and objectives.
- Perform daily assessments of the work area to ensure cleanliness and product quality.
- Keep track of supply inventory and fill out weekly order forms.
- Report regularly to management with updates and issues.
- Respond to manager's emails promptly and handle any other duties as required.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of cannabis handling and drying processes.
- Experience in trimming or quality assurance in cannabis.
- Understanding of trimming techniques and cannabis pests/diseases.
- Knowledge of local and state regulations regarding cannabis.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong computer skills for managing cannabis tracking systems.
- Superior time management skills to drive efficiency and productivity.
