About the position

The Post Harvest Lead at Trulieve is responsible for directing workflow and leading a team of 15-20 employees in a fast-paced environment focused on cannabis processing. This role involves overseeing the Dry, Cure, and Trimming processes, ensuring adherence to company guidelines and quality standards. The ideal candidate will balance leadership with hands-on tasks, ensuring that all employees are trained and that the work area is maintained to high standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct workflow and lead a team of 15-20 employees in the Post Harvest department.
• Ensure adherence to the company's Uniform and Attendance policies.
• Provide proper training to employees for their tasks and ensure compliance with SOPs.
• Conduct daily team meetings to discuss tasks and objectives.
• Perform daily room assessments to ensure product quality.
• Keep track of supply inventory and fill out weekly order forms.
• Report regularly to management with updates and issues.
• Maintain a clean work area and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge and understanding of cannabis handling and drying.
• Prior experience in trimming or quality assurance in cannabis.
• Knowledge of local and state regulations regarding cannabis.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong computer skills for managing cannabis tracking systems.
• Ability to identify potential problems with plants or products and communicate effectively with management.
