About the position

The Post Harvest Manager at Fire Bros. is responsible for overseeing post-harvest operations at the cannabis grow facility in Arlington, WA. This role focuses on ensuring efficient post-harvesting processes, managing bucking operations, scheduling, and maintaining strong communication across teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and thrive in a physically demanding environment while sharing a passion for cannabis.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise on-line and off-line harvesting processes to maintain high production quality standards.
  • Oversee the harvesting schedule to ensure timely completion of tasks and resource allocation.
  • Lead and manage bucking operations, ensuring precision and adherence to quality standards.
  • Monitor workflows to ensure all bucking tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Act as the central point of communication between the post-harvest team, management, and other departments/facilities.
  • Address production issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Accurately enter production data into tracking systems, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
  • Maintain thorough documentation for audits, production tracking, and performance reporting.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work environment.
  • Ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available, functional, and ready for use.
  • Monitor and update cure/dry room temperature and humidity settings.
  • Monitor the moisture content of post harvested materials.
  • Schedule contingent workers as needed.
  • Schedule material pick-up/delivery with the processing facility.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a supervisory, coordination or leadership role, preferably in a production or agricultural setting.
  • Basic computer literacy, including the ability to read and understand standard graphs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities with precision and reliability.
  • Proficiency in data entry with experience using cloud-based spreadsheets and tracking software or systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality results.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • 21 years of age or older and able to pass a background check.
