About the position

The Post Production Services Manager at Cloacina, LLC is responsible for ensuring effective client relations throughout the start-up, commissioning, and warranty periods of projects. This role operates under the general supervision of the General Manager or other designated personnel and is tasked with overseeing that all divisions meet the contractual obligations and scheduling requirements set forth by Cloacina. The position requires a proactive approach to managing client communications, project calendars, and site visits, ensuring that all aspects of the post-production process are handled efficiently and effectively. In this role, the manager will be involved in various operational tasks, including the assembly and compilation of operations and maintenance manuals, managing travel arrangements, and preparing correspondence such as client letters, memos, reports, and meeting minutes. The manager will also be responsible for generating and managing quality control and commissioning reports, as well as conducting warranty assessments and providing direction for warranty repairs. The ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members is crucial, as is the capacity to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of education and experience, including an Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a related field. Strong language, mathematical, and reasoning skills are essential, as is proficiency in computer applications such as the Adobe Master Collection and Microsoft Office Suite. The role may require working overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed, and the manager must be willing to travel as necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure client relations during start-up, commissioning, and warranty periods.
  • Oversee that all divisions meet Cloacina's contractual obligations and scheduling requirements.
  • Manage client communication during and after production.
  • Conduct site visits and manage project calendars and contacts.
  • Prepare travel arrangements and itineraries for projects.
  • Draft and manage correspondence including client letters, memos, reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Generate and manage quality control and commissioning reports.
  • Conduct warranty assessments and provide direction for warranty repairs.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or five years of related experience and/or training.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Mathematical skills to perform basic calculations and interpret visual data.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in various forms.
  • Thorough working knowledge of the Internet, Adobe Master Collection, and Microsoft Office Suites software.
  • Maintain current CPR/First Aid certificate and a valid California Driver's License.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in project management or client relations in a post-production environment.
