About the position

As a Staff Sales Engineer for the Professional Services Organization at Intuit, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Global Business Solutions Group (GBSG). This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about enabling Accountants, Partners, and Mid-Market Customers to effectively utilize and recommend the QuickBooks Online (QBO) Ecosystem. Your expertise in strategic consulting, technology, and product implementation will be essential in creating delightful experiences for our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding and leading change management processes, industry workflows, and the accounting implications of technology. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, leveraging your deep understanding of Software as a Service (SaaS) and the QuickBooks Online Ecosystem to drive success. Your ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with various stakeholders will be crucial as you work to influence and implement solutions that meet the needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the accounting industry, particularly within SaaS partner organizations. You will be expected to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a focus on delivering the best possible customer experience. Your role will involve leading technical discussions, serving as a design and implementation consultant, and providing product and technical expertise throughout the sales cycle. This position requires a self-motivated and tenacious individual who is capable of navigating complex solutions and driving change within the organization. You will work closely with partners and clients, ensuring that their needs are met and that they receive the highest level of service. Responsibilities

• Understand the needs of Accounting Firms, small and mid-market businesses, and their accounting implications.
• Lead technical discussions with Accounting Firms, Partners, and Mid-Market businesses to brainstorm solutions and determine technical feasibility.
• Serve as a design and implementation consultant/expert to Accounting Firms and Mid-Market Businesses, discussing tech and workflows with Partners at the C Level.
• Consult and help design technical integrations with partners, focusing on user experience.
• Provide product and technical expertise throughout the sales cycle, assisting the sales team in assessing potential applications of company products.
• Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams to drive tangible results.
• Develop credibility and strong partnerships with partner technical teams to architect joint solutions for common customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Proven 5+ years of experience in the Accounting Industry and SaaS partner organizations, including tech environments and complex solutions.
• Strong technology and business experience, preferably working with Partners and clients.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes and influence change.
• Demonstrated communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Strong understanding of small and mid-market business needs and their accounting implications.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software is highly desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to convey technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
