About the position
The FIU Institute of Environment is seeking multiple Postdoctoral Associates to engage in research related to freshwater, coastlines, oceans, and conservation. This role aims to advance scientific understanding and technology to tackle complex environmental issues through interdisciplinary research and public engagement. Postdoctoral Associates will work closely with faculty mentors, contribute to research proposals, and may also have teaching responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research with faculty mentors in relevant fields.
- Interact with graduate students and support their learning.
- Submit competitive research proposals for funding.
- Participate in outreach efforts to promote environmental sustainability.
- Teach formal courses as needed.
Requirements
