Savannah State University, established in 1890, is the first public historically black college or university in Georgia and the first institution of higher learning in Savannah. The Department of Engineering Technology is inviting applications for a postdoctoral research associate position, which is primarily focused on teaching, scholarship through applied research, and industry engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for publishing research findings in scientific journals and conference papers, developing curriculum, and teaching introductory undergraduate courses in cybersecurity. Additionally, the postdoctoral research associate will mentor undergraduate student research assistants and engage in various grant-related activities. This position is grant-funded, and continued employment is contingent upon the availability of funding. The candidate may also be required to perform other job-related tasks as directed.
