About the position

The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (UWL) is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to support a WiSys Technology Foundation and National Science Foundation (NSF)-sponsored research project focusing on the use of nanofluids for electrochemical applications. This position will involve developing computational models to facilitate the application of nanofluids for energy storage and conversion applications through software such as COMSOL. The researcher will assist in designing and executing experiments related to the synthesis and characterization of nanofluids, write technical reports and scientific papers for peer-reviewed journals, and assist in writing grant proposals to secure funding for future research. The role also includes training others in computational and experimental methods, supporting project management and collaboration across institutions or disciplines, and developing standard operating procedures and safety protocols for the laboratory. This position is 100% research, but there may be opportunities for undergraduate level teaching based on the candidate's background and interests.
