About The Position
Innova Solutions is seeking a PostgreSQL DBA/Developer to join our team. This position is a W2-Contract role that offers a hybrid work environment, requiring three days onsite and two days remote. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the installation, upgrade, backup-recovery, and performance management of PostgreSQL databases. Additionally, familiarity with Amazon AWS-RDS is essential, as the role involves deploying, configuring, and managing PostgreSQL databases on Amazon RDS. The PostgreSQL DBA/Developer will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our database systems, implementing best practices for database management, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. The candidate should be proactive in monitoring database performance and making recommendations for improvements. This role is critical in supporting our clients' needs and ensuring that our database systems are optimized for performance and reliability. Candidates who possess experience with Python, Splunk, or Mongo will be given preference, as these skills will enhance the candidate's ability to contribute to our projects effectively.
