About the position

The Power Apps/SQL Developer position at Advanced Systems Design involves designing and developing low-code solutions using Microsoft Power Apps and SQL technologies. The role requires a strong understanding of business requirements to create model-driven and canvas apps, as well as Power BI dashboards. The developer will also be responsible for writing SQL stored procedures and implementing Power Automate flows, contributing to various projects for government clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain low-code solutions in Microsoft Power Apps to ensure system requirements are met.
• Serve as subject matter expert in low-code development using Microsoft Power Apps.
• Understand business requirements and transform business use cases into re-engineering applications in Power Apps.
• Write plugin code and Java scripts for Power Apps.
• Write SQL stored procedures, views, and functions for Power BI dashboards.
• Write pipelines to extract and load data into Dataverse or SQL Server.
• Develop and implement Power Automate flows.
• Assist the project manager, database administrator, and other developers with requirements gathering, migration planning, security access, and implementation of dashboards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience using Power Platform technology in developing model-driven and canvas apps using Power Apps.
• 5+ years of experience developing Power Automate cloud flows.
• 5+ years of experience developing dashboards using Power BI.
• 5+ years of experience developing plugin code for Power Apps.
• 5+ years of experience developing Azure pipelines for loading data into Dataverse.
• 8+ years of experience in developing SSIS packages, writing SQL queries and stored procedures using SQL Server database.
• 8+ years of experience developing solutions in Microsoft .NET technologies using JavaScript and jQuery, ASP.NET Core, C#, Entity Framework, and LINQ.
• Strong communication, decision making, organizational skills, and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves
