About the position

The Power Apps/SQL Developer position at Advanced Systems Design involves designing and developing low-code solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools. The role requires in-person availability in Montgomery, AL, and focuses on creating model-driven apps, canvas apps, and power page sites while ensuring that business requirements are met through effective application development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain low-code solutions in Microsoft Power Apps.
• Serve as subject matter expert in low-code development using Microsoft Power Apps.
• Understand business requirements and transform business use cases into re-engineering applications in Power Apps.
• Write plugin code and Java scripts for Power Apps.
• Write SQL Stored procedures, views, and functions for Power BI dashboards.
• Write pipelines to extract and load data into Dataverse or SQL Server.
• Develop and implement Power Automate flows.
• Assist the project manager, database administrator, and other developers with requirements gathering, migration planning, security access, and implementation of dashboards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience using Power Platform technology in developing model-driven and canvas apps using Power Apps.
• 5+ years of experience developing Power Automate cloud flows.
• 5+ years of experience developing dashboards using Power BI.
• 5+ years of experience developing plugin code for Power Apps.
• 5+ years of experience developing Azure pipelines for loading data into Dataverse.
• 8+ years of experience in developing SSIS packages, writing SQL queries and stored procedures using SQL Server database.
• 8+ years of experience developing solutions in Microsoft .NET technologies using JavaScript and jQuery, Asp.Net Core, C#, Entity Framework, and LINQ.
• Strong communication, decision making, organizational skills, and outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification in Power Apps Development is a plus.
