About the position

The Power BI Admin Consultant will be responsible for managing the Power BI environment within the Data Innovations team at a custodial bank. This role focuses on optimizing the Power BI setup, ensuring best practices, and collaborating with business stakeholders to meet their data analytics needs. The position is a hybrid contract role based in Lake Mary, FL, or Pittsburgh, PA, with a strong emphasis on data accessibility and insights.

Responsibilities

• Power BI Environment administration including capacity planning and monitoring.
• Implementation and licensing of Power BI, deploying data sources, and maintaining best practices.
• Building Power BI dashboards and reports, connecting to various data sources.
• Interacting with business stakeholders to understand their data consumption needs and proposing analytics solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence with Power BI and/or Tableau.
• 2+ years of Power BI experience, with at least 1 year in Power BI administration.
• Strong communication skills and experience in presenting solutions.
• Self-directed and proactive approach.
