About the position

The Power BI Administrator at Cirrus Aircraft will be a key member of the Data & Analytics team, responsible for supporting business teams and managing the Power BI platform. This role involves configuring, monitoring, and provisioning resources to meet organizational needs, collaborating with team members to define the Power BI architecture, and supporting the development of data products and initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide full Power BI service administration including user management, workspace management, gateway administration, and data sources.
• Grow and integrate Power BI Service by designing and deploying workspaces, data models, app tiers, gateways, report services, and dashboard support.
• Design, develop, and implement Power BI reports and dashboards as needed.
• Perform application upgrades, hotfixes, and documentation based on policies and industry best practices.
• Maintain and update existing documentation and author new documentation as required.
• Act as escalated support resource for help desk and end users as required.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field of study, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years related experience.
• Experience developing Power BI reports and dataflows.
• Ability to manage tasks and work independently in a professional, deadline-based environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively participate in team-based client delivery projects.
• Willingness to learn new systems and technologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Agile/DevOps processes.
• Knowledge of Azure PBI Admin tools (Data Factory, Synapse).
