About the position

The Power Business Intelligence Analyst at 2020 Companies is a full-time remote role focused on designing, developing, and maintaining reporting and dashboard solutions using Power BI. This position is crucial for transforming data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making within the organization. The analyst will work closely with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and enhance existing BI solutions, ensuring they remain relevant and valuable.

Responsibilities

  • Source, cleanse, and prepare data from various sources ensuring accuracy and consistency for analysis.
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes to streamline data preparation for Power BI reporting.
  • Design and develop visually impactful dashboards using Power BI, highlighting KPIs and critical trends.
  • Master DAX calculations to create custom metrics and perform complex data analysis within Power BI.
  • Build robust data models within Power BI for dynamic reporting.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather detailed reporting requirements and manage the lifecycle of BI solutions.
  • Proactively update and enhance existing Power BI dashboards to adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Conduct insightful data analysis to identify patterns and areas for improvement.
  • Present findings clearly, translating complex insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Partner with business teams to understand their reporting needs and suggest innovative solutions.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Power BI development, including dashboard design, DAX, data modeling, and visualization.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and understanding of data warehousing and ETL concepts.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify insights, and translate them into clear recommendations.
  • Talent for creating compelling, user-friendly data visualizations.
  • Excellent communication skills to work with stakeholders and explain technical concepts.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Data Science, Business, etc.).
  • Certifications in Power BI or other BI tools.
